LOGO???

ZEN is IN!!!

So I've searching for some subject to give me inspiration for my new design direction... Well Zen is the start of my inspiration. I love the simplicity of it and how the simplest of composition can create such serenity and peace... The rhythm that accompanies it also makes for a very calming and relaxing effect... The totality of a simple image as seen below is something that inspires me, or at least it will in my designs...

So I started this new blog simply because I have new thoughts and ideas and my train of thought might as well be a public blog... Anyways, I am studying product design in Cape Town, South Africa and have just this year graduated from a 3-year Interior Design diploma... I know, why keep punishing myself with more varsity??? Well I am really excited to design products and studying product design kind of helps with that...

BACK TO THE BLOG THOUGH... So I have recently become interested in designing recycled products. And I don't mean buying some wood from a certain manufacturer that claims to have eco-friendly supplies. NO!!! Im talking about taking scrap wood, old plastic packets, trashed cardboard and the like and turning it into products... At the moment I'm still a little bit vague as to how I am going to do this, but I'm getting there, so to speak.

Well anyways, that is why I am starting this blog and I hope you've got some good comments for my good, bad and weird designs and ideas!!!
